What you'll do

Pickup by our guide/coordinator with a Shore2Shore sign at the port upon your cruise arrival to begin our excursion.

We will start with a panoramic tour of the city where we will see, among other things, the Jean Sibelius monument (closed until 2025 for renovation), the Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, the National Museum, and the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art.


We will make a stop to visit the Oodi Library, inaugurated in 2018 and awarded in 2019 as the best public library in the world.


We will visit the Uspenski Cathedral, the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe (on Mondays the church is closed and the visit is replaced by a visit to the Helsinki Music Centre).


We will visit (from the outside) the Lutheran Cathedral and Senate Square with a walk near the commercial avenue “Esplanadi.”


Optional visit to the old market and free time at the market square for shopping.


We will return to the port for the farewell.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Attention! The Uspenski Cathedral remains closed on Mondays and can only be viewed from the outside. Its interior visit will be replaced by the famous House of Music.

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable footwear.
  • People with reduced mobility who use wheelchairs must be accompanied by another person who can assist them. Please use foldable wheelchairs, as buses do not have lifts or ramps. Shore2shore is not responsible if the client does not inform about their situation at the time of booking.
