What you'll do
Pick-up by our guide at the port, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.
By bus and accompanied by the guide, we will begin our excursion with a panoramic (bus) tour of the city. We will pass through the most important squares such as Plaza Palmera, Plaza General de Gaulle, Plaza Austerlitz, the cornice of the "Sanguinaires" Islands up to the Punta de la Parata which offers us a magnificent view over the "Sanguinaires" islands and the Genoese Tower.
We will make some stops: Plaza Austerlitz to see where Napoleon’s "grotto" is located (his refuge when he was a child), the Memorial with its statue, the cemetery to see the tomb of Tino Rossi, the famous singer, and depending on the available time, our guide will suggest some additional stops.
We will arrive at the Punta de la Parata, where our bus will have to park in the designated parking lot and from there we will have to go on foot with the guide to the Punta (about 20 minutes approximately).
We will stop for about 30 minutes to take photos of the famous Sanguinaires Islands and then return to the city passing by the Holy Land monument, Tino Rossi’s house, and the Cathedral.
Here we will begin our guided walking tour: Plaza Charles de Gaulle with the statue of the Emperor and his 4 brothers, the Bonaparte House where Napoleon was born, until reaching Plaza Foch, where the market is located.
Possibility of free time or return to the ship, since Plaza Foch is located in front of the port.
