Upon arrival of your cruise, our assistant will welcome you, identified by the Shore2Shore sign.
From Bremerhaven, we will take a bus (without assistance) for an approximately 35-minute journey to the historic city of Bremen, home to a rich cultural heritage.
Upon arriving in Bremen, we will meet our local guide, who will accompany us to discover the treasures of this charming city, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will begin our visit in Bremen’s impressive monumental center, where every corner tells a fascinating story.
One of the most emblematic monuments is the Roland statue, a colossal medieval knight erected in the market square. According to legend, Bremen will maintain its independence as long as this statue stands, which is why local authorities keep a replica in a safe place, just in case.
We will then venture into the picturesque Schnoor district, the oldest area of the city, where 15th and 16th-century houses line up like pearls on a string, creating a unique and charming atmosphere.
We will continue our tour along the famous Böttcherstraße, a genuine 110-meter-long work of art built in the 1920s, filled with shops, restaurants, museums, and workshops.
Here you will also find the carillon, which offers a melodious experience, and the impressive St. Petri Cathedral. This Evangelical Lutheran church, with over 1200 years of history, stands out for its early 13th-century Gothic style, and its crypts are the oldest parts of the building.
Bremen is also world-famous as the city of the "Town Musicians of Bremen," the famous Brothers Grimm story that continues to enchant generations.
At the end of the visit, we will say goodbye to the guide and return to Bremerhaven, enjoying the scenery along the way.
