What you'll do
Pickup at the port of Argostoli by our guide identified with the Shore2Shore sign.
Our tour begins at the port of Argostoli, surrounded by mountains. We will make a first stop at the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos, located on the top of a hill in the Omalos valley, dedicated to the memory of Agios Gerasimos, the island’s patron saint, whose mortal remains rest in the church.
Next, crossing the Mount Ainos, the highest mountain in the Ionian Islands and declared a National Park, we will arrive at the Melissani Cave.
This cave is a natural wonder, included among the ten most fabulous underground lakes in the world. The visit is made on small boats, and the crystal-clear waters leave no visitor indifferent.
After the visit to the cave, we will continue our tour and make a stop in the village of Santa Eufemia, which will allow us to admire the island worldwide known as the homeland of Ulysses (Ithaki). This village is also one of the most photographed on the island with a large tourist influx.
Before returning to Argostoli with the best memories of the island, we will make a photo stop at the Myrtos Beach viewpoint to admire the Ionian Sea waters in all their splendor, as well as the village of Assos and the Venetian Castle.
We will return to the port for boarding.
