What you'll do

Pickup at the port by our guide, identified with a Shore2Shore sign.

Our excursion today is the most popular tour of the city of Reykjavik.
We begin with a visit to the Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir), the Gullfoss waterfall, the Geysir spring, and the geothermal area of Haukadalur.

We will discover some of Iceland’s "must-see" places; nature as we have rarely seen it, lava fields, waterfalls, whispering geysers, hot springs, craters, and geothermal phenomena typical of this surreal environment.

The Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) is located about 50 kilometers from Reykjavik; a place of incredible importance for its landscapes, culture, and history. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and also a key location in Iceland’s history, as the world’s first parliament met there for the first time. Surrounded by crystal-clear water fissures between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, this park is a truly majestic place covered in green moss and wildflowers.

We will head to Geysir where vibrant colors, bubbling mud pools, and erupting hot springs await us.
Geysir has given its name to all the geysers in the world and was the first known geyser. The Strokkur Geyser will offer us a wonderful spectacle. Together with the Thingvellir Park and Gullfoss (our next stop), they make up the route known as the Golden Circle.

The highlight of our excursion will undoubtedly be the Gullfoss waterfall, “the golden waterfall”, a 32-meter glacial waterfall that will provide us with unforgettable images and memories.

Return to the port for farewell at the end of the excursion.
