What you'll do
Upon arrival at the port, our Shore2Shore guide/coordinator will welcome you to begin this exciting excursion.
Join us on a guided tour through one of the most spectacular landscapes in Norway. On this route full of beauty, our guide will share stories about the fishing villages and the fascinating legends of the Lofoten Islands, a region rich in history and nature.
We will start the tour in the municipality of Flakstad, composed of Flakstad Island and the northern tip of Moskenes Island. Here, we will marvel at its white sandy beaches and the imposing Arctic peaks. We will make a stop at Flakstad Beach, where we can capture the beauty of the place with some photos.
Our journey continues towards Moskenes, where the landscape, sculpted by glaciers and wild nature, will leave us breathless. We will explore picturesque fishing villages such as Hamnøy, Sakrisøy, Reine, and Sørvågen. In Reine, the village voted "the most picturesque in Norway," we will have time for some photos at the mouth of the Reinefjorden, surrounded by majestic peaks and the Arctic Ocean.
We will take a break of approximately one hour to enjoy a light lunch (not included), have a coffee, or simply relax in the local cafés or restaurants.
Next, we will head towards the municipality of Vestvågøy, which is part of the center of the Lofoten Islands. Known for its important fishing and agricultural industry, the municipality has the town of Leknes as its administrative center, while Stamsund is another notable fishing village in the region (no stop).
From Stamsund, we will take the scenic Steine road, passing through Sennesvik and the Einangen viewpoint, which offers stunning views of the Buksnesfjorden. From here, we can admire the landscape and observe our ship from above.
We will conclude our excursion by returning to the port to say goodbye.
We hope you enjoy this unique experience in the heart of the Arctic!
