Lanzarote South Timanfaya National Park and South of the Island

Upon arrival of your cruise, the guide will be waiting for you at the port of Arrecife, identified with a sign.

We will begin our excursion towards the southwest of Lanzarote to discover some of the island's most impressive landscapes.

Our first visit will be to the Timanfaya National Park, where we will be able to witness the spectacular geothermal demonstrations on the Islote de Hilario and discover the power of the heat that remains beneath the earth's surface. Next, we will take the famous Route of the Volcanoes, a bus tour through the heart of this unique volcanic landscape, created by the great eruptions of the 18th and 19th centuries. During our stay in Timanfaya, we will also have the opportunity to have a drink and take a short break at the café, enjoying the surroundings before continuing our route.

If time allows, we will extend our tour through the south of Lanzarote to approach the "balcony" of the El Golfo, from where we can enjoy stunning views and admire the Green Lake, a unique emerald-colored lagoon located inside an ancient volcanic crater.

We will continue towards La Geria, the renowned wine region of Lanzarote, famous for its unique cultivation system among volcanic ashes. Here we will get to know this characteristic landscape up close and enjoy an included wine tasting of Lanzarote wine, one of the island's most representative experiences.

We will also have time to rest, have a snack on our own, and buy some souvenirs before heading back to the port.

On the way back, we will pass by the emblematic Monument to the Farmer, a work by César Manrique, which pays tribute to the effort of Lanzarote's farmers in cultivating these volcanic lands. We will be able to admire it from the bus.

Finally, arrival at the port of Arrecife and farewell.
