Panoramic Istanbul

Upon arrival at the port, our Shore2Shore guide will be waiting for you with an identification sign to begin an unforgettable excursion through the city's historical treasures.

We will start our visit by heading to the Old City, where we will discover some of the most emblematic places of Istanbul.

Our first stop will be the Hippodrome, a fascinating space of Roman origin. Built by Septimius Severus, this place not only hosted chariot races but also gladiator games, ceremonies, and celebrations. Here you can admire the impressive Obelisk of Thutmose III, the intriguing Serpent Column, and the elegant German Fountain.

Next, we will head to the majestic Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Mosque), commissioned by Sultan Ahmet I in 1616. We will marvel at its exquisite Iznik tiles, colorful stained glass, and the blue hues that give this jewel of Ottoman architecture its name. Our Spanish-speaking guide will explain its most interesting details and anecdotes.

We will continue to the imposing Hagia Sophia, an ancient cathedral converted into a mosque. Those wishing to explore its interior can do so on their own by purchasing a ticket at the entrance. This architectural marvel, built in just 5 and a half years in the 6th century, was revolutionary for its time. Don’t miss the famous Deesis mosaic in the Upper Gallery, considered one of the most spectacular works of late Roman art.

Finally, we will head to the famous Grand Bazaar, a vibrant covered market with over five centuries of history. We will have time to wander its labyrinthine streets and enjoy its unique atmosphere while our guide accompanies us to the best stalls.

At the end of our excursion, we will return to the port to say goodbye, hoping you have enjoyed an unforgettable experience.

• ON FRIDAYS the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia close for prayers, so we will adapt the tour according to the schedules of these sites. Sometimes the opening hours do not coincide with the available tour time, so we may substitute one of these places with the Rustem Pasha Mosque.
• ON DAYS WHEN THE GRAND BAZAAR IS CLOSED, THE ARASTA BAZAAR WILL BE VISITED

• It is mandatory to wear appropriate clothing in the places of worship that will be visited. See dress code.
• Comfortable footwear is recommended.
• People with reduced mobility who use wheelchairs must be accompanied by another person who can assist them. Please use foldable wheelchairs, as buses do not have lifts or ramps. Shore2Shore is not responsible if the client does not inform about their situation at the time of booking.
