  • Duration 4h
  • Activity level low

What you'll do

Our guide will be waiting for you at the Abu Dhabi port upon your cruise arrival, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.

Abu Dhabi is the capital and the second most populous city of the United Arab Emirates, founded in 1761. The elegant and modern city presents a fascinating blend of tradition and modernity.

Leaving the Abu Dhabi port, we will head towards the Palace of the Nation, passing through the most beautiful street in the city called Corniche or the Waterfront Promenade, full of trees, gardens, fountains, and public squares.

Our first stop will be for an interesting visit to the Palace of the Nation, Qasr Al Watan, located within the Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace complex.

Inside this emblematic building, we can enjoy a historical project that highlights Abu Dhabi’s role as the leading Emirate of its nation.

We will see examples of craftsmanship, Arab art and can create traditional calligraphy on interactive screens, as well as explore centuries of knowledge in books focusing on the UAE in the Qasr Al Watan library.

Currently, the Palace is the official meeting place of the United Arab Emirates Cabinet and the Federal Supreme Council, the highest constitutional authority in the UAE, and it is where official visits from states and world leaders take place.

After this cultural visit, we will relax at the Souq Qariyat Al Beri, with its wooden ceilings and traditional style, stopping to take photos and/or do some souvenir shopping.

We will return to the port for the farewell.
